Teague Florio Captures Liberty League Award

Teague Florio of Southampton was recognized by the Liberty League with a weekly award for his efforts on the football field.

Florio (Southampton, NY / Southampton), a cornerback, was recognized after making five solo tackles, breaking up two passes and intercepting a pass that he returned 61 yards for a touchdown at WPI. His five tackles were second on the team. He now has 14 tackles (13 solo), an interception, a fumble recovery and a team-best seven pass breakups in four games - all starts.
