Pengyuan Zheng of Chengdu, China was recognized as a Founders Award of Excellence winner. This prestigious award was established in 1994 and is given annually to students who embody qualities of creativity, discovery, leadership, pride, and responsibility at Rensselaer. Winners are selected by the schools of Architecture; Engineering; Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences; the Lally School of Management; and Science; and the faculty of Information Technology. Faculty, staff, and fellow students nominate honorees.
