Madeline Dery of Putnam Valley is a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's cross country team, which is ranked 20th in the nation, studying Chemical Engineering.

RPI is nationally-ranked after finishing in the top 4 in each of the four meets it has competed, including third of 32 on October 3.
