Laurel Dean Helps Rensselaer Lacrosse to 4-1 Start

Laurel Dean of Southington is a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) lacrosse team that has gotten off to a fast start to the 2016 season.

The Engineers, who are coached by Leslie DeLano, are riding a three-game winning streak. Their only loss came to the fourth-ranked team in the nation. RPI has scored 44 goals behind a balanced offensive attack.

Rensselaer, which played its last two games in Florida, is back in action on Saturday with a non-league game at Montclair State in New Jersey (1pm). The Engineers open their Liberty League schedule on April 1 in Troy against defending league champion Union College (4pm).
