Jaime Lord Recognized by Liberty League

Jaime Lord of Stony Point has earned a weekly track & field award from the Liberty League.

A sophomore, Lord (North Rockland HS), the Women's Track Performer of the Week, was victorious in the 3000 meter run, defeating 25 others, with a facility record time of 10:06.16 at Ithaca.The Engineers compiled 20 points and were fourth in the meet, which was won by Ithaca (71 points). She opened the season by winning the 1000 meters, defeating eight other competitors with a time of 2:58.62. An All-America in cross country, she was nearly two seconds ahead of the runner-up (3:00.26).
