Jaime Lord Earns League Award

The Liberty League has announced its weekly award winners from women's track & field and Rensselaer Polytechnic Student (RPI) student-athlete Jaime Lord of Stony Point was among the award winners.

The Track Performer of the Week, Lord (North Rockland HS) established a new school record by five seconds in winning the 1500 meters in 4:32.12 at the MIT Quad Meet. She defeated 30 other competitors, including the runner-up by nearly five seconds (4:37.42). As a team, the Engineers finished second, losing to MIT but defeating Bates and Tufts. Saturday's meet was the first of the outdoor season for Lord, who earned NCAA All-America in the indoor 3000 meters. She was also the Liberty League's Indoor Track Performer of the Year.
