Jaime Lord Earns Cross Country Academic Award

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its annual All-Academic Team award and Rensselaer Polytechnic Student (RPI) student-athlete Jaime Lord of Stony Point was among the award winners. To earn that distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and finish in the top 25 percent at their respective regional.

A sophomore, Lord (North Rockland HS) was a National All-America after finishing 15th at the NCAA Meet with a 21:37.3. She preceded that with a fifth place finish at the Atlantic Regional, crossing in 22:07.2. Like Dery, she was All-Liberty League First Team and All-Region. Lord is an aeronautical engineering.
