Benjamin Fazio Earns League Award

The Liberty League has announced its weekly award winners from men's track & field and Rensselaer Polytechnic Student (RPI) student-athlete Benjamin Fazio of East Greenwich was among the award winners.

On Friday night at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College, Fazio (East Greenwich) won the 5000 meters in a school record time of 14:27.62, including a 58 in the final 400 meters, to earn Weekly Honor Roll recognition. The runner-up crossed in 14:29.98. There were 21 competitors in the event.
